Primordial Chaos (Subjectivity of Water) [2020]

The primordial mythos of Water is that of life bearer, before science mapped out evolution. It became the symbol of the subconscious, as if it has its own subjectivity that precedes humanity’s own. I use the imagery of Water to establish a connection to the unconscious mind. A scrying of sorts but not for divination. I ask Water to unveil its esoteric secrets and dredge up the dark recesses of my mind so that I may begin the alchemist’s work.
